About

Hi, my name is Kevin! I’m an aspiring data scientist currently working on my Master’s degree in Applied Math. I completed my bachelor’s in Quantitative Economics and Political Science at the University of Colorado-Boulder. In addition to my educational experience, I interned at Chipotle Mexican Grill in Newport Beach, CA as a data engineering intern and at the White House Council of Economic Advisers in Washington, D.C.

Throughout my schooling, I have completed coursework in machine learning, neural networks, data mining, and computational statistics. I also earned a professional certificate in Data Science from IBM via edX after finishing my undergraduate degree. My experience with programming languages and packages such as Python, R, C++, and SQL combined with libraries including Keras, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Seaborn, and tidyverse, enables me to both effectively analyze and generate visualizations for large/complex datasets.

In conclusion, I am a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with experience in data analysis, machine learning, big data, statistics, and data mining. I am excited to bring my knowledge and expertise to new challenges and opportunities.
